Our private wedding took place at sunset at Dead Horse Point State Park in Moab, Utah, surrounded by our immediate family and the breathtaking beauty of the desert landscape. The setting was unforgettable—the warm glow of the sun bathed our ceremony in golden light, while dramatic storm clouds gathered in the distance. Universal Life Church Minister Steve Kearney (Madisen's father) officiated the ceremony. It was everything we had hoped for—intimate, beautiful, and full of love.
We made this decision because we wanted our experience to reflect who we are and what we value most. We were drawn to the idea of something more personal and low-key, where we could be fully present and intentional about every part of our wedding. The natural beauty of Utah offered the perfect setting—peaceful, striking, and grounded—while also capturing our love of adventure and the outdoors. For us, starting our marriage surrounded by mountains and wide-open skies felt like the perfect way to honor the journey ahead. By keeping the celebration small, we could focus on what truly matters: committing to each other in a meaningful and authentic way.
We had an unforgettable honeymoon exploring Utah’s five incredible national parks—Zion, Bryce Canyon, Capitol Reef, Arches, and Canyonlands. Each place had its own unique beauty, and we loved every moment of hiking, stargazing, biking, horseback riding, and soaking in the quiet awe of the landscapes. It felt like the perfect way to start our marriage—full of adventure, discovery, and time to simply be together.
We sincerely appreciate your love and support during this special time!
