City Market is where people go in Savannah to check out awesome shops like American Prohibition Museum, Georgia Tasting Room, The Little Convenience Store, and Woof Gang at Home. There are also great restaurants here, such as Vinnie Van Go-Go’s and Wild Wing Cafe.
This is a place that can enthrall people of all sorts of faith backgrounds, as you don’t need to be Catholic to see the beauty in this structure. The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist was first built in 1876 and rebuilt shortly after a fire in 1898.
Really cool vintage shop!
Free Honey Tasting! The River Street location also has a free mead tasting. We loved this spot for souvenirs and the honeys are delicious.
Great brunch spot with excellent Shrimp & Grits
When Candice and I traveled to Savannah at the end of 2020 this was by far our favorite restaurant. Beautiful views during dinner along with great food.
Creative New American gastropub fare, plus an all-American bar, in a former 1950s bank with a deck.
No reservations at this restaurant, so if you forget to make dinner resis it's an excellent option!! Seafood is fantastic. We went here with my cousin and her boyfriend on our most recent trip to Savannah.
There are tons of companies offering ghost walking tours of Savannah, one of the most haunted cities in America. This city has so much history, and you will learn a lot at any of these daytime or evening tours in the historic district. There are also trolley tours available with one of the companies. Candice and Mike took a walking ghost tour their first night in Savannah and loved it.
This is a speakeasy -- to get to the back room, you must ask the bartender where the private restroom is. Then you must tell the bartender two jokes.
