Love is patient, we were not!

We met while both attending a young professionals bible study at Stonegate Fellowship. We were both involved in similar things within the church.

On December 16, 2020, we were working on a puzzle, drinking some wine and enjoying music. Blake got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him and it was the easiest yes of my life! Very simple, very us.

Neither of us were ever interested in a big wedding. We both always said we would just go to the courthouse to make it official. After going back and forth, we decide to have a very intimate wedding with just us and both sets of parents. Blake and I had talked about going to Big Bend National Park to hike sometime, so we figured why not get married there! We were married on Friday February 26, 2021 by Scott Linnerud (Blake's dad) in the national park. On Saturday, we spent the day hiking with our parents and enjoying the beauty of God's creation.
