Smoky Mountain I Do

Our story began the modern way—with a match on Hinge. What started as a simple conversation quickly turned into something neither of us expected. Kearistin and Shane met in person for the first time on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at Legacy Nashville Church. What could have been just a first date became something far more meaningful, as we connected not only with each other, but through our shared faith. From the very beginning, it was clear that God was writing a story bigger than either of us could have planned. Just one day later, on that Monday, Kearistin and Shane met again for a date in downtown Nashville—one neither of them will ever forget. After Kearistin got injured, Shane didn’t hesitate to step in. After driving back, Shane carried Kearistin inside to his apartment and carefully bandaged her up. It was in that unexpected moment—equal parts chaotic and tender—that they took on their very first photo together, capturing the beginning of something neither of them could have predicted. As our relationship grew, so did our love and our faith. We have been incredibly blessed to grow in Jesus Christ together, building a relationship rooted in purpose, trust, and unconditional love. Having someone to walk through life with—who strengthens and uplifts our faith—has been the greatest gift. On Saturday, March 7, 2026, Shane proposed to Kearistin and it was the easiest yes. It was a moment filled with love, gratitude, and the beginning of our next chapter together. We are so excited to celebrate this journey with the people we love most and can’t wait to see all that God has in store for our future.
