Question
Where should we stay?
Answer
Anywhere along Highway 9 in the Santa Cruz Mountains will put you within a short drive to both Alice's Restaurant and the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. The towns of Redwood Grove, Boulder Creek, Brookdale, Ben Lomond, Felton or nearby Scott's Valley on Highway 17 will be easily accessible by paved road while also being beautifully scenic. If you stray too far off Highway 9 or 17, the roads can become a bit difficult to drive with smaller vehicles, so make sure you check how remote your airbnb or vrbo is if that is the route you are taking. Even a 10-15 drive off Highway 9 can lead you onto gravel or dirt roads. Anywhere on the Peninsula (San Francisco -> San Jose) will put you close to any airport you fly into and will be easily accessible, but may be a bit of a drive to our event locations. Coastal towns of Half Moon Bay, Santa Cruz, and Monterey will have plenty of hotel and food options if you're willing to drive a bit further.

What's the Parking Situation??
Answer
Parking at Alice's is very limited, and on a busy Friday night will be packed. We will be providing a Shuttle Bus out of Woodside for everyone coming in from the Peninsula or Half Moon Bay. If you are traveling to Alice's anywhere from Redwood Grove to Santa Cruz, we highly recommend Uber or Lyft. Or carpool with a designated sober driver. The roads to Alice's are windy and at night are very dark. We will be having an open bar and we want everyone to get home safely! The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk has a very large parking lot out front and their is abundant neighborhood parking if the lot is full.

What's the Dress Code?
Answer
The dress code is casual! Jeans and tees are A-okay with us, along with summer dresses or FULL TUXEDOS. The weather should be gorgeous during the day with mid-high 70s, but will cool down at night as the fog rolls in. Bring a sweater with you!

Which airport should I fly into?
Answer
San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and San Jose Mineta International Airport (SJC) are the easiest and closest options for flying in to the Bay Area. They are similar in price, although SJC is a bit of a smaller airport, and SFO has a slightly higher chance of weather delays due to fog. Take these things into consideration, along with proximity to your hotel when booking flights.

Please try and let us know as soon as possible, but the first week of June would be the last time we can adjust our headcount for the restaurant.

Can I bring my kid?
Answer
Of course! All children should be included on your invitation, but if we missed anyone, let us know. We will have lawn games and all the food is very child friendly.

Please do! We will send out a google drive link to everyone after the event and you can upload whatever moments you captured.

What's the weather and climate like?
Answer
The weather in the Santa Cruz Mountains ranges from mid-high 70s in the day and in the mid 50s at night. Coastal weather will be windier and chilly, a jacket is recommended. Peninsula weather can be a bit warmer, but nothing too crazy.

There will be an open bar!!!!!! Alice's will be serving us pizza, caesar salad, brisket, and veggies. If you have any dietary restrictions let us know, the staff at Alice's are more than willing to make special accommodations for vegans, allergies, etc...

Idk man what do you want me to say? While all we truly want is your presence to celebrate our beautiful day, if you feel the desire to gift us something we have our registry linked. Money is also cool.
