If you're in the area, we’ll be watching the sunset at Moonlight Beach in Encinitas near the lifeguard tower next to the big palm tree. For those who are driving, there is a parking lot for Moonlight Beach at 351 C Street, and street parking in the neighborhood is also free. Sunset itself is at 7:45pm and we'll be headed to Hotel Solea's bar afterwards to hang!

Casual attire – Jeans, shorts, sandals, and sneakers are more than welcome. No one really dresses that nicely in San Diego, but we would probably recommend against sweatpants unless you're coming straight from the airport.
If you're in town by Friday night, please join us at the hotel bar for a drink or just to chat! We'd love to get a chance to catch up with you as we will be maximizing our dance floor time at the wedding.

Ceremony & Reception

Garden party formal attire – Please see FAQ page for inspiration. Recommendations include a midi/maxi/ankle length dress or suit/jacket with tie. Pattern, texture, florals, and color are encouraged! Please no majority white fits. The venue is largely turf, pavers, and concrete – chunky heels or wedges are recommended over thin heels, and feel free to bring a change of shoes for dancing if needed!
Please arrive by 3:30pm to enjoy a welcome drink, mingle, and take pictures all dressed up! Guests will be seated by 3:45pm and our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm. There will be a cocktail hour between our ceremony and reception during which light bites will be served. An open bar will be available starting during cocktail hour as well. This will be followed by a family-style dinner and then, most importantly, dancing and dessert!

Come as you are! PJ's and comfy clothes are welcome. Breakfast will be outdoors, so bring some outerwear if the morning is a little chilly.
If you have some time before you head home, please join us for a casual breakfast the morning following the wedding. We will have a yummy spread available at the Westin Carlsbad Resort & Spa, only a short walk from Hotel Solea.
