This isn’t a black tie affair. You can wear nice pants and a button down. Jackets optional, ties optional. Its just not backyard casual, so no shorts and t-shirts.
Part of the ceremony and reception will be on the grass so consider that when choosing your shoes. We will have flip flops in numerous sizes available for all the ladies at the reception.
Rocky Point has porta johns, and we have three bathrooms at our house. So you might prefer using our bathrooms instead.
Rocky Point has a huge parking lot for the ceremony. We don’t recommend leaving your car there through the entire reception though. I believe it’s monitored after sunset. There is street parking in our neighborhood. We recommend parking on the side street (fostmere ct). It’s a small loop and gets less traffic. Our house is on the corner of Leroy and Fostmere. We also encourage carpooling and uber/lift, so everyone gets home safely.
The wedding is primarily planned for outdoors. We have a large tent with side walls for the reception so it will be covered from the elements and in June, it is typically pretty warm. That said, if you get cold easily, you may want to bring a shawl or jacket.
