Is there a dress code?

FORMAL ATTIRE Our wedding will be a FORMAL celebration, and we kindly ask all guests to dress in elegant attire. We respectfully request that ladies refrain from wearing white, red, burgundy, orange, or jeans, and that gentlemen avoid red, burgundy, orange, and jeans. To help us preserve the atmosphere we’ve thoughtfully planned, anyone wearing these colours or attire WILL KINDLY BE ASKED TO CHANGE before the celebration begins. We’re so excited to share this special day with you and deeply appreciate your understanding, support and effort in making our wedding as beautiful and meaningful as we’ve envisioned.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive by 15:00 For guests not staying at the Cathedral, we kindly ask that you arrive by 14:30 to allow time for parking and seating. Our ceremony will begin promptly at 15:30. The CHAPEL DOORS WILL CLOSE at 15:25, and late entry will not be permitted. We kindly ask all guests to be seated by then to ensure an uninterrupted and meaningful ceremony.

In order to share a personal and meaningful celebration, we are inviting ONLY those specifically named on the invitation.

Is it an indoor or outdoor wedding?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will take place in the Cathedral Peak Chapel, surrounded by the beautiful Drakensberg mountains. After the ceremony, please join us outside for canapés and drinks, where we’ll enjoy the fresh air and stunning views. We’ll then move indoors to continue the celebration with dinner, dancing, and plenty of joy!

Will there be an open bar

Answer

There will be a cash bar available during the celebration. Guests not staying at Cathedral Peak will be required to settle their bar tabs before leaving for the night. For guests staying at Cathedral Peak, any bar charges can conveniently be billed to your room.

Is there a gift registry?

We’re so excited to celebrate our special day with you - your presence truly means the world to us. We’re not doing a traditional gift registry, but if you’d like to contribute, we’ve set up a Honeymoon Fund to help us make unforgettable memories on our overseas trip.
