Mike and Keanna met in Orlando through the most unlikely of circumstances. Keanna, while working at Florida Hospital for Children trained Mike's now sister-in-law. While dating Mike's brother Chris, she played matchmaker suggesting that the two of them meet and go on a date. Jessie initiated the exchange of numbers and the rest is history. Mike and Keanna began to talk and eventually went on a few dates even competing in darts and pool where both hated to lose to the other. While they have grown to love each other's quirks and obsessions, her accepting his love of sports and him adapting to her boxes of art/creative materials, they have always shared unbreakable love for each other.

You know how they say pressure busts pipes? Well Mike is the pipe. Just Kidding. Mike enlisted the assistance of their good friends, David and Sherise, to share in our special day. While planning a European vacation Mike secretly texted the couple to say he wanted to propose on the vacation and wanted them to be a part of it. The plan was always to do it in Iceland, because of the picturesque landscape and incredible natural beauty. Hoping for a night where the Northern Lights would grace us with their presence, which can be difficult because conditions have to be perfect, Mike always had to have a back up plan in place. He did his research about a secret waterfall, hidden in a cave with an opening and a boulder in the center. The second option became the first option due to the weather and it worked perfectly. She said Yes! They enjoyed the rest of Europe traveling to Barcelona, Rome, cruising to Sicily, Malta, Mykonos, Santorini, Athens, Napoli, before finally celebrating at the biggest beer fest in the world, Oktoberfest. It was the perfect way to celebrate the engagement.
