For anyone that knows Erika - you will know that London has a very special place in her heart. She spent 3 months there in 2011 and moved to London in 2014 to study. She met Matt when she moved home to Sonoma County in the Fall of 2017. After nearly 5 years together Erika and Matt planned a vacation to London in September 2022. Erika was over the moon about getting to show Matt around her favorite city in the world, but little did she know Matt had something else up his sleeve! Upon landing in the UK, Matt enlisted the help of Erika's best friend Marissa to execute the perfect proposal. He pulled out the ring box to show her on the first night, while Erika was in the bathroom. On September 25th - Erika, Matt and Marissa enjoyed a traditional Sunday Roast dinner. After dinner Erika found a bar that was playing American Football, but when Matt insisted they walk Tower Bridge instead she knew something had to be up! Matt got down on one knee under a lit up Tower Bridge as Marissa, tourists and onlookers cheered.
