Intresting story, we have crossed paths on numerous occasions. We actually went to high school together and have met through mutual friends at parties. November 26, 2017 was the beginning of our forever. After years of some harmless flirting Calvin and I finally met up at a gas station and as soon I pulled up he was there waiting on me to arrive. I got out the car to see what he was about and little did we know that our chemisrty would be EVERYTHING, it felt like we’d know each other for years. He even invited me to his college graduation that same night, remind you he dosen’t really know me, but the energy is there. So the next day November 27, 2017 we went on our first official date. During this time we’re getting closer, creating a bond before creating the title of boyfriend/girlfriend. December 17, 2017 he says the three little words to me “I Love You”, my heart dropped because I knew in my heart that I already loved this man, I really never thought you could fall in love with someone so quickly. I was trying to play it cool but the heart wants what the heart wants and I said “I love you too”.

On March 15, 2020 Calvin and I got engaged at our home in front of all of our family and friends. Calvin led me to believe that this day was a birthday celebration for him and his dear friend Lisa, so that means I’m running around trying to make this day special for them and not to mention I cut my finger! But to my surprise the day was all about me. I had no idea whatsoever! If you know me then you know I’m nosey so how the hell did he get this past me!? Lol. Calvin had his other dear friend Thandi sing the most beautiful song ‘You Make it Easy’ by Jason Aldean before kneeling down to ask me for his hand in marriage..and of course I said “YES!” with a kiss!
