Why do I need my passport?
Anegada is in the British Virgin Islands (BVI), not the U.S. Virgin Islands, so a passport is required.
What currency is used?
The BVI uses the U.S. dollar (USD). Bring cash for smaller bars, restaurants, and mooring fees; credit cards are widely accepted at hotels and many restaurants.
Will the hotel/villa discount apply if I arrive early or stay later?
Yes — the discount was requested to apply to your entire stay, including extra nights before or after the main booking.
How do I get to Anegada if I arrive early?
You can stay on nearby islands (St. Thomas, Tortola, Virgin Gorda). Be on Tortola by Thursday (see travel page) for our private ferry.
Can I stay later?
Public ferries run Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; otherwise arrange a private boat.
Are private boats available?
Yes—private charters and water taxis exist; search and book in advance.
