Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our special day is Cocktail Attire (ex. cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets and slacks.) No jeans please! Please refrain from wearing any white or anything close to white or you may be asked to leave!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for your understanding!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

The wedding is an adults only evening unless otherwise specified on your invitation. We thank you for making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you arrive no later than 15 minutes before the ceremony start time. We would appreciate no interruptions after we have begun.

Can we take pictures and/or videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We will be having an “unplugged” ceremony, so guests are not permitted to have their phones on during this time. We have hired extremely talented photographers and videographers and this will allow them to capture the best possible shots. We will share pictures as soon as possible!

Is it okay to post photos on social media?

Answer

Unless we tell you otherwise, we ask that no one posts any photos with or of us until we have had a chance to post them ourselves. Please be respectful of our wishes.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

Answer

Due to venue policy and regulation, no outside alcohol is permitted on the premises. There will be an open bar with bar staff providing beverages.

Will there be an open bar or a cash bar?

Answer

There will be an open bar, but you may bring cash if you choose to tip the bar staff. We will also be having an after party following the reception where it will be a cash bar!

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

Due to limited rooms in the Lodge, we have reserved rooms only for the bridal party and out of town guests. There are other nearby hotels you are welcome to stay at, but we are not blocking off any rooms. If there are extra rooms after we assign to those who need them, we will reach out to you and open them up on a first come, first serve basis.
