We actually met years ago, when we were teenagers. We both had jobs at the St. Louis Galleria Mall. He was working at The Great Escape Steaks in the food court and I was working at Mrs. Field's Cookies. We dated a bit back then, but the universe had a different agenda for us. Our paths would later cross again and he courted me the same way he did all those years ago. Roses and chocolates!

We were on our first cruise to the islands in the Bahamas. We spent all day at CoCo Cay Key Island enjoying the beautiful tropical life. He took a nap on the beach and I wondered off to find where the music was coming from. He eventually woke up and came looking for me. He eventually found me at the floating bar, located on a sand bank in the ocean. I had plenty of Tito's and punch by that time. I had no clue he was planning to pop the question at dinner in front of everyone on the cruise ship in the middle of the ocean!!
