We’re saying I Do!

Wes and KC met 5 years ago at Appalachian Ski Mountain. They lived in a small town in Boone, North Carolina where she went to school for nursing and he went to school for project management. Little did they know they only lived about 5 minutes from each other, but if it hadn’t been for the Ski Mountain they might not have never met. They eyed each other frequently as Wes managed the lifts as a lift operator and KC would ride up the conveyer belt with her Ski Wee’s, ski instructing for what must have been every day! The first most memorable conversation that drew them to each other even more was talking about the new movie Frozen that they wanted to see and singing the songs together. Wes finally got KC’s number! Their first date was the next day where they went sledding. On Valentine’s Day 02-14-2014, they had their first kiss under the fireworks at Appalachian Ski Mountain after working and skiing together for the first time and officially started dating. From there they began to ski and snowboard, play disc golf, hike, and grow as a couple. Fastforward to both of them surviving nursing school and graduating, they decided to move to Raleigh where Wes is from. KC got her dream job working as a nurse at Duke in the ICU. Wes began his career as a project manager working with Concept 8. Today, they live in a small town Knightdale just outside downtown Raleigh where they bought their first home together in October 2017. They cant wait to celebrate with you on their wedding day as they exchange vows on the top of Big Appal. We'll see you at the top! K&W
