In 2009, amidst the bustling halls of Kentlake High School, Brian and Kim's love story began. They were each other's high school sweethearts until life led them down separate paths. Brian orchestrated a surprise engagement during their trip to Banff National Park. When they were alone on a ledge overlooking Moraine Lake, Kim posed for solo photos facing the Mountains, unaware of Brian's plan. Brian nervously dropped to one knee with a ring, and as Kim turned, she saw Brian on one knee asking for her hand in marriage.
