General details: We recommend cocktail party attire. Feel free to throw on your favorite jersey for the reception, of course. We’d like to get a picture with all our guests wearing shirts representing their favorite teams, so please bring one. If you don’t have a favorite team, this bride is happy to supply Oklahoma Sooner gear ❤ If your RSVP has changed, please let us know ASAP. We are submitting the final guest count this week. Ceremony: Our ceremony is outdoors, at the Topiary Garden at 480 E Town St. There are a few different options for parking. Street parking is available on all sides of the park Private parking lot off S Washington Ave, between Franklin Ave and E Town St Ohio Health parking garage at E Town and S Grant Enter via the E Town St gate for the most direct path. The ceremony is on the south side of the park, near the pond. Following the ceremony, please head over for cocktail hour at our Tailgate reception while the bridal party remains to take photos. Tailgate: There are two CBC locations in Columbus. Please make sure you go to the Columbus Brewing Co TAPROOM at 2555 Harrison Rd. While our venue is private, it’s still a brewery with limited capacity. Unfortunately, this means we aren’t able to invite minors. Instead, we hope you’re looking forward to enjoying a night out, without the kids 😊 Cocktail hour begins at 6pm, with light snacks and drinks, football games and dancing with the DJ. We expect to arrive with the bridal party between 6:30 and 7pm for introductions before dinner. We’ve planned a few activities, but we’ll try to work around kick-off, time-outs and halftime. Go Bucks! Please listen for our DJ’s announcements throughout the night, including speeches and dance invitations. We have a Pitabilities food truck on-site from 7-9pm, where you can build your own Greek dinner. They offer gluten-free and vegetarian options but please let us know if you have other food/allergen needs and we’ll try our best to accommodate. To save everyone from having to eat gluten-free cake, we’ll be offering several individual dessert options at 9pm while we cut our small gf cake for pictures and the obligatory face smash, haha. After dancing and drinking for hours, we always want a late-night snack so we’ll have some sweet and salty snacks out around 10pm. Please eat something, to recharge and absorb some of those drinks 😊 Speaking of drinks, please enjoy drinks on us! We created a cocktail menu we hope offers something you’ll love. In addition to sodas and water, you can chose from a selection of CBCs on tap, a cider and a white, red and bubbly wine. Cocktails available are the Blackberry & Rosemary Smash, Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew Martini, and our signature drinks- Jameson & Ginger and Mango & Jalapeno Margarita. We’re happy to say we’re expecting about 100 of our closest friends and family! We want everyone to have a great night, so in addition to dancing and football, we’ll have cards, board games and a quiet(er) area to sit and visit. There is also an outdoor patio. Sadly, even great evenings have to end. We only have the Taproom until 11p. Assuming we’re celebrating more than our wedding day, Boomer! O-H!, there could be an unofficial after party, location TBD. Hi everyone! Keith and I would like to apologize for the invitation delay. We know many of you are trying to make plans to celebrate with us and need the details. We lost our venue the day we were mailing invitations. After a mad scramble, we've found a great location! However, due to the late date, we will be sending invitations via email. If you haven't responded to the Zola text with your email address, please do so quickly! In the meantime, a few important details: Our ceremony is at 5:00pm at the Topiary Park in Columbus. Yes, we know- that's prime football time. Feel free to keep an earbud in, haha. Afterward, please join us at the Columbus Brewing Company Taproom for our first annual Behlmer Tailgate at 6:00pm. Football on the big screens and the Pitabilities food truck, an open bar and a DJ, outdoor games and lots of laughs! We'd love to see everyone in their best cocktail party gear. Think bougie NYE party. So break out your little black dress or your favorite sparkly number; dress pants and button downs or sweaters are perfect for the guys...no one needs a tie at a tailgate! And don't forget to bring your favorite jersey or team shirt. We really want a group picture with all our guests repping their favorite team. Keith told me he was proposing in Italy in July. The month before, he decided not to wait that long. We were already planning to see Matchbox 20 in June- they are my all-time favorite band. Unbeknownst to me, Keith had already picked up my ring and arranged with friends to propose at the concert. He waited until my favorite song, and it took three attempts before I would actually talk to him- it was during my favorite song!!! The last time I turned around, he went down on one knee and it took me about 3 seconds to figure out what was happening. Then I screamed yes.
