We kindly ask for our guests to wear dressy-casual attire. We'd love for you to get a little dressed up with us! For men, this could mean button-down shirts with dress shorts or slacks; for women, dresses or pantsuits are perfect. No jeans please! Remember, we are getting married on the beach. Wear comfortable shoes!
We are so excited to be getting married on the beach! Our ceremony will take place at Shad Street Beach, located at the corner of Shad Street and Lighthouse Drive. For the easiest directions, type 'Shad St Public Beach Access' into your map app.
We ask that you arrive to Shad St Beach by 3:30 pm, so that we can begin promptly at 4:00 pm.
Parking is limited at the Shad St Public Access, so we recommend showing up a little early—just in case you need to go on a mini adventure to find a street spot!
We’ll be celebrating outside at The Black Stallion (599 Laughing Gull Ct, Corolla, NC). This event home is located inside a gated community called The Currituck Club. To get there, plug in 620 Currituck Clubhouse Dr to your map app - it’ll take you to the front gate. Just let the gate attendant know you’re heading to a wedding at The Black Stallion.
In early September, Corolla usually has warm days around the low 80s°F and cozy evenings in the high 60s°F. The ocean stays nice and warm, perfect for a dip. While there’s a chance of some rain and humidity, we’re crossing our fingers for clear skies - but no matter what, the party will go on! Just bring your good vibes and be ready to have fun! :)
We say ‘I do’ at 4 PM, then it’s party time starting at 5:30 PM! We’ll be celebrating, dancing, and having a blast until 10 PM - bring your dance moves! **There is a noise ordinance that goes into affect at 10 PM. Therefore, the DJ will need to turn off his speakers at that time. We'll continue the party :)
