💒 The Mohicans (The Grand Barn, Mohican Cabins & Treehouses)

There are various options for staying the night in a treehouse or a cabin. If it’s your preference to spend multiple days in the treehouses I suggest you plan on checking in Sunday and extend into the following week. This is because the whole site will be not available due to other weddings closing the campsite that Saturday and Friday. The Treehouses and cabins at our venue will first be opened up to our immediate families, then to the bridal party, and then to the rest of our guests. The site will be closed to the public up to 60-90 days before our wedding, at that point they will open it up for the public. We have the entire campsite on Sunday blocked for only us. Ignore the website where it says 2 night minimum for holiday weekends. Treehouses and cabins range from $300 - $500 this weekend. Seems steep we know, however play attention to the occupancy sizes because many of them sleep anywhere from 4 - 15 people! These can be split by multiple couples/groups of people.

💚 Mohican Adventures Campground & Cabins

Because of the size and range of options this is our recommended campground and place to stay. The cabin rentals are for more larger groups(smallest one sleeps 4). Prices range from $125 - $600 a night. There are houses for rent as well. If we get a big enough group staying an extended time maybe we can set it up to rent one - that would defer costs a bit. Pay attention to rental rules, some spots have minimum day requirements. If you aren’t looking to book weekly look at: Frye’s Riverside, Cozy Cabins, A Frame, and Camper Cabins options. This location also has a wide variety of activity options for families. Pools, adventure parks, go carting, mini golf.

💜 Mohican State Park Camp Ground

**Budget Conscious** campsite is the same price range as the other spots ($25-$40 a night). This site is located closest to Mohican Adventures (our recommend campsite). They have some more expensive options to rent as well as cheaper options than at Mohican Adventures. Air conditioned ‘camper cabins’ for rent sleeps 4 at $150 a night and then cheaper cabins that are $70 a night and sleep up to 4 people. There are a few options at this site of cabins and campsites depending on what you need.

🛃 Mohican Lodge and Conference Center

This is the only traditional hotel in the area. There will be a shuttle available to take you back to the hotel after the wedding if you choose to stay here the night of the wedding. This spot is a bit cheaper than our venue. Rooms range between $150- $300. There are rooms with double queen beds available which can be split by 4 people. For those traveling with kids this hotel has many kid friendly activities.

Mohican Wilderness Campground

**Budget Conscious** this is a traditional camp ground, camper or tent sites can be rented for between $25-$45 a night. They have cabins as well for around $100 a night. There are minimums for nights on holiday weekends so be sure to check that. They give incentives for longer stays with free nights. They also have family weekend package deals as well where they include activities such as mini golf and horse back riding. Campsite has canoeing, archery, crafts, etc. this is a great cheap option for families if you don’t mind the no AC. This is the closest of all options to our venue site and the shuttle would take you to your site at the end of the night.

💰 Mohican Reservation Campgrounds and Canoeing

**Best Budget Option** another campsite close to the venue with TONS of activities to do! This place has tents, tipis, cabins, and cabin shells available for rent as well. Campsites range $25-$35 for a night. They also have cabins (not air conditioned) most sleep 4 but one larger one is here that sleeps 9. These cabins range from $75-$90 a night. There are minimum night requirements but this is a great option for the cost.

Smith's Campground & Cabin

**Budget conscious** this is another campsite close to our venue and on the path of the shuttle. This site offers AIR CONDITIONED (window units) cabins. Three cabins 10 person cabin $300 per night, 2 person cabin $175 a night, 4 person cabin $175 a night. These look very nice and have jacuzzi tubs and full kitchens. There are also campsites for rent at $40 a night.
