When should I RSVP by?

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

There are several in the area (see the Travel tab above), and we have a block of rooms at the Hampton Inn at Matamoras. What time should I get to the wedding?

Please plan to arrive at 4pm on Saturday, July 5th. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30pm. Shuttles will be available starting at 3:45pm - see below for details.

What's the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail / garden attire - sundresses, cocktail dresses, floral prints, suits in lighter hues, jackets and slacks.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is! Sylvan has a huge onsite parking lot with room for 50 cars, so you'll have plenty of space if you're driving in.

Is there transportation to and from the venue?

Answer

Yes! There are ubers in the area, however Milford is a small town and it may take awhile to get one / be picked up. We therefore have shuttles that will run back and forth between Sylvan Ridge and specific pickup / dropoff points. Note that shuttle capacity is 11 guests max, so please plan accordingly: Shuttle #1 - Milford Park - corner of 5th St & West Catharine St (across from 201 West Catharine St), Milford, PA 18337 Shuttle #2 - Hampton Inn at Matamoras - 122 Westfall Town Drive, Matamoras, PA, 18336 AND Port Jervis, across from Erie Railroad Station - 29 Jersey Ave (on Fowler St), Port Jervis, NY, 12271 In the afternoon: Shuttle #1 will leave at 3:45pm from Milford Park, drop guests off at Sylvan Ridge, and then run back and forth between Milford and Sylvan Ridge. Shuttle #2 will leave at 3:45pm from Port Jervis, across from Erie Railroad, will stop next at the Hampton Inn, then head to Sylvan Ridge to drop off guests. It will run back and forth, making trips between Port Jervis, the Hampton Inn, and Sylvan Ridge. In the evening: Shuttle #1 will leave Sylvan Ridge at 9:00pm and drop off guests at Milford Park, then run back and forth between Sylvan Ridge and Milford. Shuttle #2 will leave Sylvan Ridge at 9:00pm and drop guests off first at the Hampton Inn, then continue to Port Jervis and drop off any additional guests. After drop off, it will return to Sylvan Ridge and continue to make trips between there, the Hampton Inn, and Port Jervis. Shuttles end at midnight.
