when Ker asked KB to do an art challenge. Prior to that, the two were introduced before through mutual friends, but neither one was looking for a relationship at the time. Because of KB’s love of traveling she told Ker she wouldn’t be available to meet until 2017.

from her trip, Ker followed up with KB and they met again in January 2017. Some can argue it was their love for art that brought them together and some can say it was just the right time. After their paint class, they had dinner together and got to know each other more. KB began to realize Ker had similar morals and values as she did and he realized she was different from others. During the month of January, the two spent time together having dinner and late night coffee dates, but it was a trip to the art museum KB realized Ker was the first person in her whole existence to reach out and understand what art meant to her. Art was both their escape; a place for them to layout their emotions that no one would ever understand. At the end of January 2017, during the Saint Paul Winter Carnival, Ker asked KB to be his girlfriend and the rest was history.

some may say their relationship was becoming too fast, the two can attest this: time is not a measure of quality; of infatuation, or of love.
