Continue on I-87 to Exit 21 (Catskill) as you approach the Catskill region. After Exit 21, follow the signs toward New York State Route 23 (NY-23) / Route 23 heading west/northwest toward Windham. Merge onto I-87 N (New York State Thruway) via the Whitestone Bridge. Stay on I-87 N for ~100 miles. Take Exit 21 (Catskill/Cairo). Follow Route 23 West toward Windham (~25 miles). Windham is right off Route 23—Main Street will take you into town. ✈️ From LaGuardia Airport (LGA) Approx. 2 hours 45 minutes Take Grand Central Parkway to I-278 E (BQE) toward the Triborough Bridge. Merge onto I-87 N (New York State Thruway) and follow directions as above from JFK. ✈️ From Newark Liberty International (EWR) Approx. 2.5–3 hours – 145 miles Take I-78 E briefly, then merge onto I-95 N (NJ Turnpike).
