We're getting married!

We met at a concert at Rick's in Starkville, MS. Kazzie almost stood Cooper up, but her friends insisted on her meeting him. When they arrived at the concert Kazzie's roommate at the time said "If you don't go talk to him, I will" and it was the push that Kazzie needed. We had a great time dancing the night away to a country cover band and have been inseparable ever since. Shortly after, Cooper found out that he was accepted into Chiropractic school and we had to make the decision to move forward or go our separate ways. We are so glad we pushed through the hard times and now are looking forward to a lifetime together!

After 4 and a half years of dating and Cooper finishing his Doctorate degree and Kazzie finishing her Master's degree, we knew it was time to take this next step. Cooper spent months planning the perfect proposal. Kazzie's family planned a trip to the beach to "celebrate her Dad's birthday" as a ploy to have everyone there for the proposal. Cooper invited his family and a few friends to be there for the surprise as well. We were on the beach taking family photos and as Kazzie was taking a picture with her sister, she turned around to find Cooper down on one knee. Cooper forgot the speech he had planned and Kazzie isn't sure if she even said yes, but it was one of the best moments of our lives.
