Why am I only invited to the reception?

Answer

Our ceremony will be a small and intimate gathering due to limited space of the venue and the fact that being the center of attention makes the bride a little shy. We figured fewer people watching us say our vows might help us get through it without ugly crying too much! We wish we could include everyone, but please know how excited we are to celebrate with you at the reception — that's where the real party starts anyway!

How do I know if I am invited to the ceremony and reception or just the reception?

Answer

Your formal invitation will indicate which event(s) you are invited to attend. If both the ceremony and reception locations are listed, that means you are invited to both. If your invitation says "Reception Only," we are looking forward to celebrating with you at the reception!

What do I need to know about the location of the reception venue?

Answer

Please watch for signage in the parking lot directing you to the “reception venue” entrance. (The actual entrance to the reception venue at The Bruery is an unassuming storefront door, Unit #737, and not thru The Bruery Tasting Room, Unit #717.)

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to space limitations at our venue, this will be an adults-only event. We absolutely adore your little ones, but we hope you can enjoy a night off and celebrate with us!

What is the deal with the parking at the ceremony site? (For ceremony guests only)

Answer

UPDATE: We have figured out a solution to our problem!! We will be providing a shuttle bus with a restroom on board to take our ceremony guests to and from the site. Guests should park at the reception site (The Bruery) in Placentia and board the bus at 1:30. The shuttle will transport you to Crescent Bay Point Park in Laguna Beach for our 3:00 ceremony. Once the ceremony and pictures with the bride and groom are over, the shuttle will transport everyone back to the reception site. There will likely be a gap in time once you arrive back at The Bruery so head on over to the tasting room to enjoy a beverage or two before the reception begins at 6:00. We are so happy to have found a solution and hope this eases some of your concerns about the whole ordeal!

What's for dinner?

Answer

Who doesn't love tacos?! We are getting a taco man to cater. Each person is allotted 5 tacos and the meat choices are carne asada, chicken, al pastor, and soyrizo (vegan option). Yum!

Where is your gift registry?

Answer

Since we have already been living together for some time now, we are fortunate to have most of the things we need. While we are truly grateful for the thought behind any gift, a monetary gift would be sincerely appreciated and will go towards our honeymoon in Italy, where we hope to enjoy some special experiences like wine tasting in Tuscany or riding on a Vespa on The Amalfi Coast! We also dream of one day owning our own home, so we will be putting some of these monetary gifts towards that goal as well. Thank you all so much for your love and generosity — it means the world to us!
