An ensemble that would not look out of place in a European period piece, while not expected, would make a welcome addition. Your favorite high fantasy piece of media could inspire your outfit; Lord of the Rings, Dungeons and Dragons, and The Witcher all fall under that genre. Low fantasy outfits, like what is seen in the Chronicles of Narnia, would also fit right in. Something ripped straight from a live-action Disney film, like Disenchanted, Cinderella, or Alice in Wonderland, would add the perfect amount of whimsy. Even a pirate wench or a Jack Sparrow-inspired outfit would be fun. We want this to be as cheap and easy or as intricate and complicated as folks are capable of. An outfit as simple as Shrek's, Gaston from Beauty and the Beast, Wesley from Princess Bride, or something as visually stunning as a full Victorian ball gown would be equally welcome. If you are still confused after this description, check out the Outfit Inspiration tab for more visual aids. Want to double-check and see if you picked up the right vibe? Send any pictures or links of what you are thinking of wearing to Kaz or Bailey.
Not necessarily. Kaz and Bailey will be wearing Midnight Blue and Pink Lavender. However, their outfits will be a distinct suit and gown. If you wish to incorporate elements of our colors, you are welcome to do so. We simply ask that you do not wear a "dark blue suit" or "light purple gown."
Possibly. Thornewood Castle does offer rooms for overnight stay. Their website contains information regarding availability. There is a small number of suites available, some of which are already booked by ourselves and close family members. We do not have any rooms booked for guests, if you want a room, you will need to book it yourself. www.thornewoodcastle.com/staying-at-the-castle
