Bridesmaid
Patricia is Kat's younger sister and built-in best friend. From creating imaginary worlds in their backyard to building blanket nests for sister sleepovers to attending many (MANY) emo rock concerts, Patricia has been by Kat's side through it all. Additionally, Patricia has been lovingly warned that her Maid of Honor speech needs to be so good it brings the wedding guests to tears, so please support her in this endeavor.
Groomsman
Still known as 'Jake' to Zac's family, James has been like a brother ever since elementary school, when he first invited himself over for dinner. They still share a passion for the beautiful game (soccer), though it's now mostly reminiscing about how they would've changed team tactics senior year of high school (we should have played 5 at-the-back). Feel free to congratulate James on his recent engagement!
Bridesmaid
Lauren and Zac go way back, which makes sense considering that she is his sister. More importantly, Lauren has known Kat from the very beginning, since Zac first brought her over to dinner with the family. The three of them have stayed close ever since, and regularly share laughs on long-distance catchups over the phone. Importantly, Lauren is widely known as the funniest Chase family member, so please hold her to that standard during the wedding speech.

The Cornell transfer gods paired Zac and Jonah as random suitemates in the Fall of 2014. Since then, they've studied abroad in Barcelona, graduated as ILRies, and seen many Broadway shows together. There is a good chance you already know Jonah, because he seems to know absolutely everyone. But if you do not, feel free to start up a conversation; he likes that.

The UConn Res Life gods smiled down on Kat and Amy when they paired the two as random roommates for their freshman year of college. Although endless laughter and carefree adventures brought the two close, Kat and Amy solidified their friendship over a shared love of fruit-flavored baby food (really - it's like applesauce, only better). Amy is a fiercely loyal friend whose confidence inspires Kat every day. Feel free to ask Amy about Connecticut real estate or her amazing event planning skills.
Groomsman
Zac has been friends with Joe for over a decade, and has crashed on Joe's couch too many times to count. But it's okay because Joe has crashed on Zac's couch more than that. Joe is very excited to be a part of his first ever Jewish wedding, and cannot wait to try on his yarmulke. Feel free to ask Joe about Ardolino's pizza, a small, family-owned establishment on the outskirts of Pittsburgh serving up some of the best pies around.
Bridesmaid
During freshman year of college, Nomin was basically Kat and Amy’s third roommate (thanks to a "borrowed" mattress arrangement and a lot of late-night chats). Nomin has always been the kind of friend who tells it like it is, which makes Kat feel grounded and supported no matter what might be going on in their lives. An engineer with a wildly creative streak, Nomin is one of the coolest people Kat knows. Feel free to ask her about the best thrift shops in Connecticut or what she’s knitting/crocheting at the moment.

Zac did not know Postal's first name was "Dan" until senior year of college, which was surprising, considering that they'd been close friends on the club soccer team for two years. Nowadays, 'Postal' and 'Chase' - as they are still known to many - can usually be found showing up late to a local Manhattan pickup game. Feel free to ask Postal about his time living in Colorado - if you hear that Zac is traveling 'out West', it typically involves Dan.
Bridesmaid
When Kat was a college freshman and Sarah was a college senior, they met through their sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta. The powers that be paired the two as "Little Kite" and "Big Kite," meaning that Sarah was supposed to guide Kat through that new chapter in her life - and Sarah truly has been guiding Kat ever since. To this day, they still affectionately refer to each other as "Lil K" and "Big K." Feel free to talk to Sarah about the books you're reading or ask her about her stunning food blog, Well and Full.
Groomsman
Zac and Casey kickstarted their friendship in middle school by somehow convincing each of their moms to buy them an airsoft gun. Since then, they've spent most of their time together doing various activities, including but not limited to: soccer, wakeboarding, paddleboarding, snowboarding, jet-skiing, and mountain biking. If Casey isn't actively on an adventure, something's wrong - that may explain why he's now in the military. Feel free to ask him about non-classified information.
Officiant
Jason was the coolest guy in Hebrew school, and has been close with Kat and Zac since their Trumbull High School era. A longstanding and loyal best friend, he was the obvious choice to officiate their wedding. Feel free to ask Jason how in the world he beat out Kat and Zac for the "best couple" superlative senior year of high school.
