Devin and Kaytrin met in October of 2014 while working at Johnnys in Schenectady. Devin was the chef, Kaytrin a waitress working on her masters. They both remember Kaytrin saying "we will be best friends" during their first conversation. After a few months of back and forth conversations, Devin asking Kaytrin out several times, in January 2015 she finally agreed to meet for coffee, after a 45 minute coffee date they immediately made plans for the following weekend, and the weekend after that, then they found each other taking time off of work for dinners and movies. next thing you know, in March 2015 Devin Finally asked Kaytrin to officially be his girlfriend. What happened next is kind of a whirl wind so try to follow along! In April of 2015 Kaytrin Joined Devin for Easter dinner at his parents house as it fell on his birthday that year. while there talks of Devin following a personal dream of his to open his own restaurant came up. Devin and Kaytrin had passed a space for lease on the way there on the corner of Western and Quail street in Albany. After meeting the landlord, the space was theirs. Yes theirs, along the way Devin asked Kaytrin if she wanted to join in on this adventure. she said yes! Crave was born, after two years of great success Devin and Kaytrin decided to open their second location. 2 days before signing the papers on their new property, Devin and Kaytrin found out they would be expecting a little baby in the spring! so onward and upward they made the decision to buy a house! The Cuckoos nest opened, House purchased, Baby born all within 9 months! Crave, Cuckoo, House, Baby.....ring? Yes! the next step would be a ring! it could have been another restaurant but a wedding it will be! On September 17th, 2018 Devin Took Kaytrin to Buvette in NYC, got down on one knee and proposed! Kaytrin was right all along, they would become best friends... and business partners, home owners, parents, and next up, husband and wife. what a dream!
