We're Getting Married!

Kayty and Jared’s story began in Las Vegas in 2019 at Silver State, one of the largest R/C races in the world. At the time, Kayty was living in Vegas, and fate brought them together through their shared passion for racing. Not long after the event, Jared—then living in San Diego—made the drive back to Las Vegas to visit Kayty for a weekend. Their connection continued to grow, but life soon led them in different directions. Kayty moved back home to Pennsylvania to keep racing with her family, while Jared returned to Illinois. Despite the miles between them, Jared visited Kayty’s home track in Pennsylvania for a few big races. With each visit, it became more and more clear: they were falling for each other. Though separated by an eight-hour drive, they took a leap of faith and started a long-distance relationship. For the next year and a half, they made it work—mile by mile, race by race—until the time was finally right to move in together.
