As soon as possible, but at the latest September 13th! Having an accurate guest count will allow us and Disney to best plan for your arrival! If you have any questions or problems, please message us at (321)-503-4435.
Yes and no. With the uniqueness of our venue being Walt Disney World presents special challenges. Because of capacity limits at our ceremony and celebration spaces we sadly ask that only those who are listed on the invitation attend these events. Luckily because we are at the most magical place on earth your extra guests can enjoy the theme parks, swim at the resort hotels, shop at Disney Springs, or many other activities offered throughout the Disney World property while official wedding events are taking place.
We have invited only the closest and most important people in our lives to celebrate with us. We want you to be truly present with us on such a special day and we would much prefer to see your faces and not your devices! We have hired amazing photographers and videographers, who we have no doubt will capture all the best parts of our ceremony so we ask that you to leave the photography and video up to them! But at the reception and dessert party... please take a lot of pictures!!
You do NOT need to purchase any theme park tickets to attend any Wedding Events.
Walt Disney World provides some child care services. While your children are more than welcome at the ceremony portion of the evening, the reception will be adult only. Kid’s Nite Out (ages 6 months to 12 years): An in-room babysitting service, which provides qualified babysitters directly to your hotel room. Kids can enjoy arts and crafts, reading, and games. Camp Dolphin: Located at the Swan and Dolphin hotel (near Epcot), kids receive dinner and snacks, and enjoy games, movies, crafts, etc. $15 per child. Captain Hook's Pirate Crew: Located at Disney's Beach Club Resort, kids receive dinner and dessert, learn how to be a pirate, and receive their very own pirate name! Reservations required. $55 per child. https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/en_CA/recreation/captain-hooks-pirate-crew/ More info on child care here: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/en_CA/guest-services/child-care-services/ http://www.wdwinfo.com/just_for_kids/childcare.htm
There is complimentary parking at the Wedding Pavilion/Grand Floridian for our wedding guests. Simply tell security that you are here for the Conners/Piscitelli wedding and they will direct you where to park. Other direct options include taking a ride share like Uber or Lyft, or Disney's Minnie Van partnership with Lyft. Some complimentary round about transportations are taking a bus to Magic Kingdom and then Disney’s monorail to The Grand Floridian, or starting at Disney Springs and taking a Disney bus to The Grand Floridian.
Uber\Lift are a option if you aren’t bringing a car and carpooling is a option as well due to the location only being a five minute drive away.
Safety is our #1 priority, and so is Disney’s. That being said, Disney is constantly updating their safety protocols in line with the CDC recommendations. Make sure to visit Walt Disney World’s Know Before You Go page to stay up to date on the current safety protocols: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/experience-updates UPDATE Currently masks are required for unvaccinated guests and optional for vaccinated guests in shared indoor locations (hotel lobbies, the hallways of the conference center) and are optional for all guests in outdoor locations and private indoor locations (the wedding pavilion, inside the ballroom). Masks are required for all guests, regardless of vaccination status on Disney transportation (buses, monorails, sky liner). The best defense against the COVID-19 virus is the vaccine. So we are highly recommending that anyone who is physically able and eligible to become fully vaccinated before traveling for our event. We also highly recommend getting tested before traveling and staying home if you do not feel well. We love you all and want to make sure you all stay safe and healthy <3
