Seven years ago, under a full moon and few shots of bourbon, we met at a cozy hole-in-the-wall Creole restaurant. We each talked our charming talk and smiled from being charmed. Kayti got up and sang and Dwight smiled, very kindly. At the end of that magical evening, Dwight leaned in and kissed her goodnight, igniting a spark that felt electric.   Just a week later, Dwight surprised Kayti with a homemade dinner featuring an unbelievably delicious pork loin, paired with some rather crunchy Rice-A-Roni. We kissed under a big tree in Dwight’s backyard, and realized (but didn’t tell each other yet) that we had found that special magic in this world.   As time passed, Dwight gradually opened his heart and life to Kayti, and we both felt lucky to have found each other. Our first 7 years have been filled with much laughter & joy, including a memorable first Christmas with the Branson kids, our first anniversary, a brief breakup, which ultimately caused a powerful reclamation of the love we cherished too much to let go.   Since then, we’ve worked (not too hard) to build a life together, filled with love, music, kids, friends, family, unforgettable adventures, Dwight’s delicious cooking, and Kayti’s AMAZING sense of humor. It’s a beautiful partnership that continues to grow as we grow, and we’re excited to see what the future holds.   Dwight proposed on a yacht at the end of an unforgettable two-week trip to Italy. Now, we invite you to join us in celebrating. You are one of the people who hold us together. Your coming is your way of saying, we, your people, will be there for you, to make sure this union stays healthy and whole. You, we trust, will help us find our way on our hard days, when things feel uncertain or impossible. We want to share our joys, so we can share our abundance.
