Like all great modern romances, ours started with a swipe on Bumble. Our first date was at a coffee shop at 3 pm. A bold choice, considering I don’t usually drink caffeine that late. I left the date on a road trip and thought about him for the whole 6 hour drive. He must have felt the same because he texted me that night asking, “when can I see you again?” Here we are, over two years later and my answer to his question?? tonight, tomorrow, and forever.
We were at our favorite little beach lookout when Tim started pointing out a dog for me to see. This is a regular occurrence during our conversations so naturally, I started looking, but I couldn’t see it anywhere. He kept insisting, telling me to stand up and look harder. So I did… and when I turned around, there he was on one knee. Behind us, my sister and a photographer were secretly capturing the whole thing. Afterwards Tim took me to a brewery where some of our friends and family were waiting to celebrate. It was absolutely perfect. And no, there was never a dog.
