We're Getting Married!

We first met each other in middle school, where we didn't really know one another but seen each other around school. I knew Isaiah was in Fatally Unique (an AMAZING dance team) and I remember my mom urged me to message him on Facebook to wish him good luck because he went to my school! Isaiah went off to high school after that and I finished out middle school, and we reconnected at Rockford Dance Company, where I was a company member and Isaiah was a hip hop instructor. We had various times of interacting in high school: Isaiah told me he liked my nail polish once and I wore that nail polish everyday for the next 4 months lol! Isaiah finally built up the courage to give me his phone number on a slip of paper, that he brought to me in the dance studio JUST before ballet class started...in front of everyone. It was so sweet but the whole room was definitely squealing in excitement. From there we started dating, Isaiah went off to the military, I went to New York to join The Ailey School, and the pandemic finally brought us together and we moved in with each other in October 2020 in NYC. We are on our 4th apartment together (the rent increases in Manhattan are INSANE) and we are happily living together in Washington Heights, while we go to work, dance, school, and finish wedding planning! <3
