The year was 2019. Kaysey had just moved to Wichita and finally decided it was time to download the dreaded online dating apps to try to meet somebody other than her coworkers and classmates. With little luck and a short attention span, she quickly deleted the apps after only a few weeks. Little did she know that one of those lovely fellows that she chatted briefly with in 2019 was Brian Renfro. Fast forward to 2022 and she’s back on the apps giving it another try. This time, she connected quickly with Brian and they made plans to go on a date that weekend. After giving Brian her number, he realized he already had it saved and they discovered they made plans to go on a date back in 2019 but it never came to fruition. Their first date was…long and memorable. From almost getting Brian beat up by a former WSU basketball player to making him watch not 1 but 3 musicals in a row, to this day it’s a mystery on how Brian decided “yep this is my person.” But he did and Kaysey felt the same way. They quickly grew closer and have been with each other through many milestones, many hard times, and so many unforgettable moments. Together they share a love of New Orleans, which is where Brian proposed to Kaysey. They also share a love for Taylor Swift, Bravo television, horror movies, trying new food, and going all out for Halloween.
