We're Getting Married

Kalynn and Christopher were in the same dental class at Nova Southeastern University. They knew of each other but had very different friend groups during their first year of school. During an ASDA Happy Hour, over the summer going into second year, Kalynn decided to go up to Chris and strike up a conversation. It wasn't until she messaged him on Facebook a few weeks later that they exchanged numbers. Kalynn and Chris were both fresh out of long relationships and weren't looking to be more than friends. Their friend groups began to mesh (the birth of Bitties) and they started to hangout more and more. Kalynn started catching some feelings & threw out hints but Chris kept saying that he would "never date someone in our class." After Christmas break, Chris did some reflecting and decided he wanted to pursue things further with Kalynn. Everyone went out to Rocco's Tacos and this was a turning point in Kalynn and Chris's "friendship." He told her that he would make her breakfast one day and soon after Chris invited Kalynn to attend a social together and slowly they started to become inseparable. One night, the Bitties decided to go out to a Mardi Gras event. After a few drinks, Chris asked Kalynn to be his girlfriend in front of the iconic Porno Pizza Shop in downtown Ft. Lauderdale.

It was a rainy, dreary day in New York City. Chris and Kalynn headed into Manhattan to get coffee with some friends. Afterwards, they walked over the Brooklyn Bridge and headed to the DUMBO area. As they were walking across the bridge it began to down pour. They were walking around the park killing time before heading to dinner (or so she thought). They came to this beach area, which would have had a beautiful view of the New York skyline, however, the fog had another backdrop. Kalynn had asked for a picture and Chris said to take it facing the city. As she was facing the city, Chris pulled out the ring and got down on one knee. Kalynn had turned around to the complete surprise of Chris proposing. Before Chris could get any words out Kalynn asked, through the ugly crying, "are you serious right now, when did you asked my parents?" Chris shook his head yes and than asked if she would marry him and she said YES! Chris had another surprise up his sleeve and had his parents, her parents and brother there to witness and celebrate the proposal with them.
