Sky and I met in 2021 while working together at Dutch Bros, pouring espresso shots and sharing laughter with everyone who walked through the door. But before long, we realized that no one made us smile quite like we made each other. What started as a simple connection quickly grew into a friendship so strong that nothing could shake it. Late nights curled up watching our favorite shows, endless conversations that stretched into the early morning, and sleepovers that became our new normal. Somewhere in between all of it, we felt something we never expected. We fell. And we fell hard. Neither of us had been searching for love, but somehow, love found us anyway. It was as if the universe had quietly conspired to bring us together, knowing what we didn’t yet realize ourselves. At the height of our feelings, we attended a close friend’s wedding a day filled with love, promises, and the kind of romance that lingers in the air. Sky kept pulling me outside for "fresh air," each time trying to find the courage to say the words she had been holding onto for so long. And when she finally did, the world around us faded, leaving only us. Two people who had unknowingly been waiting for this moment all along. Two people unknowingly finding the person to spend eternity with. The journey from that night forward wasn’t always what we imagined, but through every twist and turn, one thing remained constant: we were in it together. And that has made all the difference. Now, with a love that feels like home, we are building our life side by side just as we were always meant to. Together in a house we remain day in and day out, scattered with everyday life items and numerous dog toys. Our life together is just beginning and we couldn't be more excited to share our journey with those closest to us.
