FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

As much as we would like to say no, our big goal is for everyone to match the aesthetic for the photographers and videographer. We kindly request that everyone comes dressing in neutral colors. For us, this will include shades of browns, tans, light pinks, and greens. We do understand that this is not very common so we would love to see different textures, designs, and patterns to be incorporated into your attire. We also kindly ask you to avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride such as white and ivory. We also ask that you avoid colors that are black or bright such as neon or bold colors.

Question

Will there be parking?

Answer

Yes, there will be onsite parking for all guests.

Question

Can I request songs at the reception?

Answer

Yes, our DJ is open to taking song requests. However, she has the ultimate decision on when it will be played. You may also request a song when you are completing your RSVP.

Question

Will there be alcohol at the reception?

Answer

There will be alcohol provided at the wedding. However, we are hosting a stock-the-bar party listed on the schedule page on our website. All the alcohol provided at the party or brought to the bar on the day of the wedding will be used. We will have an open bar with that alcohol as well, but only with what was originally provided. We are also not opposed to you bringing your own. We just request that you are safe with it as we are not liable for your actions.

Question

Is Uber allowed on site?

Answer

We strongly encourage you to plan ahead with Uber or a designated driver if you plan on drinking till the end of the reception. This is also because of the venue's location. It is held on a road with many curves, hills, and cliff edges. We want all of our guests, family, and friends to leave the wedding safely.

Question

Is the ceremony indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside while the reception will be held indoors. We kindly ask that you be aware of the weather and prepare accordingly for temperatures. The venue is located on top of a hill, so there will most likely be some sort of wind. If inclement weather does hinder the use of the original outdoor ceremony site, we will use the reception space.

Question

Is the ceremony and reception in the same place?

Answer

Yes, both locations are located at Anderson Ridge.

Question

What if I have food allergies or restrictions?

Answer

Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions. We will do our best to adjust the menu for your safety.

Question

What food will be provided during the reception?

Answer

We are very blessed and honored to be doing a lot luck style reception. We will be having family and friends prepare barbecue with all of the fixins. We will also have a dessert table with many options.

Question

Can I take photos and videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an “unplugged” ceremony. This means we are asking that all phones and cameras are put away and turned to silent/off during the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer and videographer to capture some of the most important moments of our lives and we would hate to a person’s phone or camera blocking that moment for our photographer to capture. After the ceremony and exit, please feel free to take as many photos as you would like and share them with us!

Question

Can I bring a plus one/date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate the guests that are included on your invitation. If you received a plus one, it will be listed on your invite.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We are not opposed to kids at our wedding as I know they will also have a blast. However, we are wanting a kids free ceremony. We understand we have kids in our wedding party, so this is why we are not opposed to the idea. We will have a kids section and coloring book for them to stay busy during the ceremony.

Question

What if I don’t RSVP by the deadline?

Answer

We strongly encourage you to RSVP by April 10th. After this deadline, we will message you once more as a reminder. However, if we do not receive an RSVP back from you, you will be marked as not attending. The reason for this being that we must provide accurate guest counts to all of our vendors within a timely manner.
