In January of 2020, Andy and Kaylynn found themselves in a Russian language course together at BGSU. He was privately infatuated by her eccentric personality, just as she was by his quiet kindness and steady demeanor. Andy, after seeing Kaylynn dressed up to give a presentation for class, called his best friend to gush about the girl he couldn't get out of his head and how her skirt had reminded him of Mortal Kombat.
Andy began inviting Kaylynn to the bi-weekly board game nights that he hosted at his apartment. As a recent transfer student, Kaylynn was thrilled to be invited. She found herself completely smitten when Andy, with little to no baking experience, attempted to bake for her vegan cookies. It was after one of these game nights that Andy confessed his feelings to Kaylynn and they shared their first kiss.
The rest is history!
Kaylynn and Andy went into the COVID-19 Lockdown together, spending virtually all of their time with one another. They bonded quickly over their shared loves including hiking and games.
