In the summer of 2018, Kayly’s Dad became Noah’s football coach at Wilcox County High School. Noah was starting his Junior year and curious about the coach’s daughter, Kayly, currently in her Sophomore year at Lanier County High School. He began reaching out and soon heard she would be moving to Wilcox starting January, 2019. Despite being in different grades, they had a few college classes together as well as gym. They really began to grow closer together during the school day and it carried over to track practice after school, where Coach Cofer was both of their coaches. Yikes! Noah asked Kayly to prom, and met her mother Tammy when they went to pick out a dress. They began dating after their first OFFICIAL date to Olive Garden in Valdosta, Ga, on Noah’s birthday, 4/20/2019. Dates before that included watching movies with Coach, spending all day together at the area track meet, and endless sweet treat trips to The Bean in Eastman, Ga. During Noah’s senior year, Kayly was on the cheerleading squad. Football has always been an instrumental in their relationship as it is something they both love. Till this day, they both attend her Dad’s games, as well as any Auburn games Kayly can get Noah to. Ever since the start of their relationship, Kayly and Noah have done long distance. They have never lived closer than an hour apart from each other. This has only made their love for each other stronger and makes the thought of one day starting a life together so much sweeter.
