New Year, New Last Name!

The first night of our sophomore year at Tennessee I went to a Thomas Rhett concert with a new freshman Phi Mu. Ironically she was friends was Sam's little sister, Kate. Sam's fraternity was hosting this concert and fun fact... Sam's fraternity paid him $350 to play! Anna introduced me to Sam that night and truth be told I wasn't feeling it. The next week Sam asked me to a date party and I got " sick" and couldn't go. That didn't stop him, he asked me to 2 more date parties and finally, I said yes to the 4th. Our first date party was themed "One for the ages". Everyone looked great! There were couples from the 70's, 80's, 90's, and then there was us...Caveman and Woman (pictures on photo page). The rest was history. Date parties became our favorite thing, I knew I loved him when he agreed to be " Grandparents Day" for the annual holidate party and drank beer out of a prune juice bottle. 6.5 years, tons of UT football games and 3 cities later Sam asked me to marry him.
