The ceremony will take place outside in a protected nature area. The Dripping Springs Amphitheter is located at the very end of the La Cueva turn off of Dripping Springs road, before the dripping springs visitor center. There are a lot of rocked in pathways and no pavement, so we ask guests to keep that in mind when choosing footwear.
The reception will be held at Truth or Consequnces Brewing Co. (2001 E. Lohman ave), where the bride works. It is a small intimate venue that normally operates as a brewery to the public. While we are there to celebrate, it is still a business that has the right to refuse service and cut off alcohol service as the bartenders feel necessary. The brewery has two indoor spaces and a very comfortable outdoor patio. There is no on-property smoking allowed, but guests are allowed to smoke in the parking lot.
We are going for a "desert spring cocktail" setting. Wear whatever you feel most confident and comfortable in! Please keep in mind, the ceremony venue is outdoors with no paved paths and mostly rocks, and we will be under the April, New Mexico sun. (and obviously please avoid wearing white)
Parking for the ceremony venue is very limited. We will only have 25 parking passes to assign. We ask guests to please carpool with families/parties. We also suggest meeting at the reception venue and driving together from there. If you and your party would like one of the limited passes, please reach out to the bride for availability.
We ask that phones and cameras stay put away during the ceremony. We want everyone to be present to celebrate and witness our big moment. We have hired a professional photographer so we will be capturing the moment for ourselves. Please feel free to capture and post all of your fun during the reception.
We are providing catering, but we will not be providing an open bar. Guests will be responsible for their own drinks. The brewery accepts cash and card. Remember to also bring a valid form of I.D. Don't forget, your bride is also a bartender, so be sure to tip her coworkers!
We do love your little ones, but due to the venue space we can only accommodate close family children. Please keep in mind that while our reception space is "family friendly", it was not made for children. It is a space for adults to drink and celebrate.
We have limited space for additional guests, so we are keeping the guest list to close family and friends. If they were not included in the invite then unfortunately we cannot accommodate them
