Where is the venue?

Answer

The venue is at Matthew's grandparents' property in the woods near Christopher Creek, AZ. The property, referred to as "The Spread," is approximately 27 miles Northeast of Payson, AZ(the closest big city). The address is 157 W Shadow Ranch Rd, Payson, AZ. **GOOGLE MAPS AND WAZE DOESN'T WORK FOR THIS ADDRESS** Please use MapQuest or Apple Maps in order to successfully make your way to the Spread. I suggest printing directions because service can be spotty in the mountains. You can park on the property, so carefully make your way through the gates and there will be designated parking. If you end up taking the shuttle back to your cabin, you can be picked up the next morning by the shuttle in order to retrieve your car.

Question

If I have been drinking, how do I get back to my cabin?

Answer

There will be a complimentary shuttle-like service provided to get people back to their accommodations. People who were shuttled to their cabin can be picked up the next morning to go retrieve their cars. This will be limited to cabins located within several miles of the venue.

Is the Wedding Venue Inside or Outside?

Answer

The wedding venue will be located outside. There will be a pavilion with a few heaters inside. The high for October in Christopher Creek is typically mid-70's with a low of 45ish at night, so please bring warmer clothing options. **THIS WEEKEND WILL BE ABOUT 65 DURING THE DAY, SO DRESS WARMLY!!!** The more you dance, the warmer you'll be! Ladies; the majority of the ground is grass, so it is recommended that you wear flats or wedges to avoid sinking into the grass.

Is there food close to the Spread?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. The closest food is in Payson which is 20-30 minutes away. There will be buffet-style dinner and late night snacks put out for people to munch on. If you plan on drinking, I suggest having a stash of snacks at your cabin just in case you need more.
