Jake and Roman met while playing lacrosse in college at a school that we don't talk about. Despite both transferring to different schools after playing with each other for only one year, they have remained close friends.

Meghan and Jake have known each other for years working at the Lariat Lodge. They have certainly had their fair share of differences throughout the years but have always remained friends. Through the Lodge Meghan was also able to meet Kay. We were all just coworkers at first, but this friendship has gotten more and more meaningful and important to both Kay and Jake.

Jon, Meghan's husband was introduced to the crew by Meghan. At first he was some guy who stopped in for a beer every now and then. Eventually Jon started working full time at the Lodge and his connection with both Kay and Jake blossomed. Jon and Jake have quickly become two peas in a pod and Jake is so grateful for the relationship he has been able to form with Jon.
