It all started back at Fox Lane High School, where Kaylie and Sam shared hallways, classes, and the gym, Anytime Fitness. Walking on the treadmill and chit-chatting soon turned into a genuine friendship. After graduation, life took them in different directions. Kaylie went to SUNY Plattsburgh and Sam went to Michigan State. Still, no matter how far apart they were, they always found time to reconnect during college breaks in their home town with their close group of friends. One snowy New Year's Eve, Sam asked Kaylie to join him on his road trip back to Michigan. At the end of the trip, he finally asked her to be his girlfriend. For the next two years, Sam would make the 13-hour drive to see Kaylie at college, sometimes just for a weekend. They explored the roads from the Adirondacks to Michigan’s Great Lakes. Those early days were filled with endless road trips, spontaneous adventures, and the excitement of exploring the world together, something they continue to enjoy, always taking time to reminisce. After living in Michigan, and back in Westchester for some time, In 2022, Kaylie and Sam moved to West Hartford, Connecticut. Kaylie works for West Hartford Public Schools as a Special Education Teacher. Sam works at Connecticut Wealth Management as a Financial Planner. They share their days with their 5-year-old lab, Cooper. Now, after 8 years, they are ready for their greatest one yet… a lifetime together as husband and wife. They cannot wait to celebrate with their closest friends and family back in the place it all started.
