We’re getting married!

So one day I decided to go to a car meet with a friend at our local Bennigan’s in Des Moines parking lot, headed there and noticed a guy with my friend didn’t really think anything of it! Until that night we meet up again with whole bunch of friends that we knew together, Erik decided to ask me for my Snapchat and we went from there! Erik came over one day to meet my mom and one of my sisters and they were iffy with him at first until he started coming more often and everyone started to love him! On September 15th of 2021 Erik asked me to be his girlfriend and of course I said yes, we ended up deciding to get an apartment together! As we started living there and getting towards the end of our lease we decided we wanted to try to and buy a house, man was that a pain in our booty’s, but we made it through all the process and bought our first home in October of 2021! We got all moved and we’re so happy and very proud of ourselves for being able to make this happen! Then time moves along and December 4th 2021 comes around we decided to go out and find a Christmas tree for my mom Shelby, and she found the perfect one! We decided to go over in the area where you can take pictures, and all of a sudden I’m just staring at cameras pointing at us and not going down and I look to my side and there Erik was on one knee asking me to be his forever, and I SAID YES! I couldn’t have had asked for anyone else to get down on one knee and say yes to! And now here we are planning our big day! I’m so happy and ready for our future!
