We first met in homeroom our freshman year of high school back in 2010. A year later we found ourselves in Chemistry together. After getting to know each other better we went on our first date in 2012 to Kings Island where we made it official. From that point on we were inseparable. We both decided to attend the University of Cincinnati where our love grew stronger. Finally, after dating for seven years, Dominic proposed on June 23, 2019.

On a bright sunny June day Dominic asked Kaylie to lunch. They went to Two Cities Pizza in downtown Mason and afterwards Dominic suggested they go on a walk at a nearby park; the same one they went to on their second date. Little did Kaylie know that while they were walking around the park, both her family and Dominic’s family were gathering at a shelter. At the end of their walk Dominic popped the question at the same spot they got their first picture. His sister, Maddie, was there to capture the moment and then the newly engaged couple walked over to the shelter to be embraced by their family.
