Christian and Kaylie first met at a house church on Valentine’s Day where Christian was a wingman for a friend who had a crush on one of Kaylie’s friends. The following day when they ran into each other again he proceeded to Simba mark her forehead with ketchup. They continued to talk and get to know each other all the while their friends were planning outings behind the scenes to get them to continually run into one another. A few weeks later Christian asked Kaylie on a date and the rest was history. God brought peace to the relationship and the desire to get married. After two years Christian proposed in the redwoods on a camping trip. She said yes on February 23, 2024 on their two year anniversary!
