Kayli met Spencer on July 12, 2023, thanks to a last-minute Southwest flight and two very convincing friends who insisted they’d be a perfect match. Kayli was a little hesitant after a recent breakup… but that lasted about five minutes after meeting Spencer. One introduction turned into spending the entire day together, and they’ve basically been inseparable ever since. They made long distance between San Diego and Austin work through nonstop texting, calls, FaceTimes, and plenty of flights. After meeting each other’s families, they knew this was something special. They used to joke that Kayli would move to Austin “in about a year.” On brand for Kayli, she moved just a few months later — easily the best decision she ever made.
