Thank you for being such a special part of our lives, we cant wait to celebrate with you all! Patrick and I met in Portland for the first time on a beautiful Maine night. Of course it was at a country bar, thats where it all started. Although, I had no intentions of meeting a cowboy, let alone in Maine that night, but hey, dreams do come true. Patrick and I exchanged numbers, in hopes of meeting up again in the near future. Thankfully, we planned a first date a few days later. Of course, this also took place at another country bar, my personal favorite, Erik's Church. After the date ended, I remember going home to my mom, snuggling up on the couch with her and saying these exact words, "I just met my future husband." From there on out, it was nothing but exploring Maine, having fun with friends, and getting to know each other. Patrick, who was in the army, was looking at a possible deployment, and had been contracted on a job in Maine and only had a couple months left before going back to Wisconsin. Despite all those things, we both knew we wanted to make it work. Though, it didn't take long for everything to fall in place. Fast forward to when the job was done and the deployment was cancelled, and we had a decision to make. Without hesitation, Patrick moved to Maine and we began making more memories! Yeehaw!

A little life update: We've really been through a lot these past couple years, but things are finally coming together, and for that, we're so grateful. Patrick is working his way up at ATA piping and in the Army, I'm now a licensed Occupational therapist at a skilled nursing facility, and everyone is healthy! 2023 will be one for the books! We can't wait to get married!
