Question

Why Sweden?

Answer

Kayley is of Swedish heritage and in 2024 Kayley got to take Ryan to Sweden to see her family. Both loved the country and the culture, which lead them to dream of having their wedding in Sweden. Gothenburg is a beautiful city on the west side of the country with the perfect summer landscape. It embodies the culture and traditions they want to bring into their family while also representing their love for travel.

Question

How expensive will this be?

Answer

Simple anwser: $1 USD is roughly $10 SEK $1 CAD is roughly $7 SEK The flight their will be the most expensive, flights in July range from $600 - $900 USD depending on where you fly out of. Once over their accommodations, food, spending money is a lot more inexpensive. For example Ryan and Kayley spent a week in an AirBnB in Stockholm (the capitol of Sweden) for $2500 SEK which was $250 USD. USD or CAD money will stretch farther over there and the hotels have shuttles and public transportation is cheap, easy, and clean. We recommend checking booking.com . We know a destination wedding can be expensive but we planned this with the conversion in mind to benefit those traveling over and minimize costs.
