What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking at the venue, but we will also be paying for transportation to and from the venue from the hotel we booked.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Like the good English majors that we are, we chose to do a Great Gatsby Themed Wedding! Think Flappers, Gangstas, Roaring 20's style! When in doubt, go Black-Tie (Floor length gowns & tuxs are not mandatory). We will also be providing some fun accessories at the ceremony to help with the theme, so don't sweat it if you don't have a feathered head band or fedora!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Plus Ones are specified on the invitation either by name or "Guest."

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a hotel block at Avon Old Farms Hotel. More information for this can be found in the "Travel" section. It is not required to stay here but we will be providing transportation to and from this hotel to our venue.

What time do the buses leave for the Venue?

Answer

We have two sets of buses. They will be leaving at 3:15 & 3:30.

When should I book my hotel room by?

Answer

We have blocked off only a certain amount of rooms, so I suggest sooner then later. Your card will not be charged until that weekend. The block is released on September 8th, 2023, one month before the wedding, so it would be best to book before then.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, we will be providing transportation to and from the hotel to the venue. Ceremony and reception are in the same location. After Party will be back at the hotel!

Question

Are there any early buses to bring guests back to the hotel before the reception is over?

Answer

We will have one bus leaving at 9 PM and then the rest will be at 10 PM when the reception is over.
